No Interest Loan Scheme

NILS provides access to fair and safe loans for eligible people with no interest, fees or charges. The repayments are arranged with clients so that they are affordable. Loans up to $1,500 are available and and can be used for a range of purposes including household items like a fridge or washing machine, car registration/repairs, furniture or computers.  Household Relief loans are also available for up to $3,000 for people whose income has been affected by COVID-19 and can be used for payment of rent or rental bond, utilities or rates.

Saver Plus

The scheme provides matched savings for education costs of up to $500 and assists participants to build savings habits and money management skills.  Participants undertake a ten-month financial education program and when completed, receive the matched payment (dollar for dollar up to $500) after finishing the course and meeting the savings goal.

National Debt Helpline

Aims to help eligible people to address their financial problems, make informed choices and build longer-term capability to budget and manage their money.

Money Support Hubs

Aims to provide integrated Commonwealth Financial Counselling and Financial Capability (CFC/FC) services, access to Microfinance products, and in some instances emergency relief services in income management and cashless debit card locations either through a permanent presence or outreach.
